Built from a bog standard 1.6 petrol Jetta, Matt has quickly made his humble Volkswagen Jetta into a TDi Powerhorse.

Going against the grain of commonplace 1.8t conversions, Matt used his 1.9TDi AHU engined Mk3 Golf for a donor car, working night and day to get it ready for CumbriaVAG 2012! It was a good decision too, returning awesome MPG as well as sustained power throughout the rev range with a couple of trick bits added to the engine spec.

Interior comfort comes from a set of chopped down Mk3 GTi seats to accomodate the 6ft6′ tall Prescott! Black GTi carpets , A pillars and roof lining finish off the interior choices.

Sitting pretty on a set of FK Coilovers with 16×9 Borbet A’s all round it sits wide and low. As a proper VW should!

Engine spec:
AHU Engine from late mk3 golf – .216 nozzles, FMIC, EGR delete, custom Powerflow stainless system with decat, manual boost controller, and a VR6 clutch to handle it all.

Chassis:
FK Coilovers, Borbet A’s powder coated white. Uprated brakes with braided hoses.

Interior:
Mk3 Golf GTi seats, Mk2 GTi black carpet, headlining & pillar trims. Mk3 TDi clocks.
