Gates open 1:30pm Saturday for weekend ticket holders and 2:00pm for anyone wanting to buy tickets on arrival. Any show cars will need to be moved into the show field between 8am and 9:30am Sunday morning. The gate will re-open to the public at 10:00am Sunday.
The gate will close for entry at around 9pm, so please make sure you arrive before then. In extenuating circumstances if you need to arrive later than this, please contact us via email within a week of the event, or using the live chat option at the bottom of the page.
No, glass bottles are strictly banned from our fields. Please decant any glass bottles into plastic ones before bringing onto site.
Absolutely not, as the ground is used as an agricultural showground, we cannot have any scorch marks on the site. Gas BBQ’s and stoves are allowed if they are raised well above the ground. Thanks for your co-operation here!
There are plenty of food trucks located in the main arena, selling fantastic meals without extortionate prices!
Yes, at the far end of the camping field. On arrival you will be given a map which shows it’s location.
Camping is available Saturday night only, gates open 1:30pm and will stay open until 9pm.
Yes, caravans are permitted in the camping field.
If you are coming for the weekend, please arrive no earlier than 1:30pm lunch time on Saturday, as we cannot let you on site and there is no space to queue on the road directly outside the event.
On Sunday, gates will open for show cars at around 8:30am, with public entry from 10am.
Well behaved dogs, on leads, are more than welcome!
Unfortunately, this is not possible. The Show & Shine area is separate from Club Stands so you can only park on one or the other.
Yes, just like club stands, cars on trade stands are judged for every award except ‘Best in Show’ which is reserved for the Show & Shine area only.
If you wish to enter Show and Shine on the day, please see the gate staff who will offer you a space subject to availability, either in Show & Shine or on the CumbriaVAG Clubstand.
Yes, we have a separate non-VAG section of the Show & Shine area. Please apply here, in the usual way and you will be guided to this area on arrival.
Non-VAG cars are also welcome on Club Stands, but in moderation. If you have booked a Club Stand please discuss this with us prior to the show.
Yes, cars on Club Stands are eligible for all prices except the ‘Best in Show’ award, which is exclusive to the main Show & Shine area.
Yes, tickets will be available on the gate.
Yes, all tickets are per person.
Weekend tickets get you access on both Saturday from midday and the Sunday show. They also include camping and access to the entertainment Saturday night.
Please check your junk folder before messaging us. If they are not in there you may have entered your email wrong at the checkout (you’d be surprised how often this happens!). In this case please drop us an email or use the live chat below and we’ll get you sorted.
We only offer ticket refunds in the event of cancellation or postponement to another date.
Kids under 10 are free to camp on Saturday with a paying adult. 10-16 year olds need a child ticket (£5).
Anyone 16 or under is free on Sunday with an accompanying paying adult*.
*max of 2 under 17s per paying adult.
The short answer is yes – we need a printed copy of your ticket in order to scan the barcode to validate the ticket and let you into the festival. In some cases we can scan the code directly from mobile phone screens but this cannot be guaranteed so we ask that you bring a printed copy to make gate entry as smooth as possible.
