Following on from our earlier post CumbriaVAG do Wörthersee ’15, here are some more photos from the last few days of our trip. We didn’t always have the camera on us, so most of these were taken at Faakersee, which is up there with my favourite parts of the world. The standard of cars continued to be amazing and fantastic weather topped it off.
Stef and I pretty much spent the last few days of the week lapping up everywhere between Velden, Faak & Reifnitz. We also managed to squeeze in a couple of hours in Venice before our flight back yesterday (Saturday) which was cool. The car parking was expensive, but the pizza was cheap! So we ate enough to balance it out.
Definitely going to drive it again next year, had to fly out this time due to being on a tight budget, but having our own cars out there with a boot full of deck chairs and BBQ gear would have been the icing on the cake.
Anyway, here’s the rest of our photos, enjoy!
Full carbon bodied Mk7 Golf was a sight to see
Worthersee isn’t just about the VAG group, there’s always tons of amazing cars from other marques too!
We saw this porsche again later in the week with hardly any splitter left, good to see that it was getting used and abused as it should be
Gepfeffert flying this plane over their meet was a nice touch
An amazing view and one I look forward to every year.
New S3 saloon looking pretty special at Faakersee.
Until next year… Der see ruft!
